The Rat Scouts and Their Living Environment

People call them the rat scouts. It's because they wear giant rat skin for clothing, and they mainly survive by foraging, with hunting only being an occasional necessity. They live in Bushtrees, in the foggy marsh, in the northern part of the continent Glaive.

They live in giant bushtrees; it is a type of long-living bush that grows so big people can just call trees. Its older vines gradually turn to fireproof stone, while its younger vines still has the properties of most other plant life.
